One of the most explosive wide receivers in today’s NFL landscape may be on the move sooner rather than later, as sixth year veteran Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers may be on the way out of the Bay Area franchise this offseason.
With that in mind, BetCalifornia.com broke down the odds on where Samuel will suit up next fall, when the NFL is back and each of the 32 teams in the league take the gridiron in search for a Lombardi Trophy of their own.

Samuel is set to enter the final year of his three-year, $71.550 million deal in 2025, with the Niners announcing they’re allowing the veteran and his agent (Troy Dandy) to find a trade partner, potentially paving the way for the All-Pro wideout to move on in 2025.
In 81 games, Samuel has racked up 4,792 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns while amassing an approximate value of 52 to date, meaning there likely will be no shortage of potential suitors for the 29-year-old out of South Carolina this offseason.
Where Will Samuel Go?
Given his $15,825,505 salary cap hit (per Spotrac.com), we’re still going with the Niners as the most likely NFL team to employ Samuel in 2025, with +225 odds that the veteran returns for a seventh season with the franchise that drafted him 36th overall in 2019.
Should he move on, though, keep an eye on teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos, who are our most likely landing spots for Samuel, at +900 apiece, while fellow wideout-needy NFL teams like the Washington Commanders (+1000), New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers (+1100 each) are other likely teams to pursue the veteran receiver this offseason.
As far as longshots are concerned, AFC teams like the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers are names to remember when it comes to the chase to land Samuel’s services, with both teams landing at +1250 to haul in the 29-year-old in the coming weeks and months now that Samuel has the green light to pursue a trade from Niners’ brass.
