The Clippers have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA, as they went 9-1 in their past 10 regular-season games. After being entrenched in the eighth spot for what seemed like forever, the Clips got hot and somehow ended up in the fifth seed to earn a first-round showdown with the Denver Nuggets.
James Harden, Norman Powell, and Kawhi Leonard all lead the team with over 20 points per game. Additionally, Ivica Zubac has been tremendous, leading the team in rebounds and winning all the tight board battles. Harden has remained a solid shooter while also leading the team in assists.
A Quick Glance at the Los Angeles Clippers
Despite 18 playoff appearances in the Clippers' franchise history, the team has not been able to capitalize on any of those postseason trips. In fact, the Clippers are just one of 10 teams to have yet to win an NBA Championship.

Key Contributors on the Clippers Roster
James Harden has had a resurgence this season, leading the team in points and assists per game. Additionally, Norman Powell is having his best season ever, while Kawhi Leonard has stayed relatively healthy. Ivica Zubac continues to patrol the boards, and Bogdanovic has been a nice addition to the team.
The key issues here are 1) Can the Clippers stay healthy? and 2) How will these players co-exist with one another?
Where Can I Bet on the Clippers?
Because sports betting is not yet legal in California, residents there must drive to the neighboring states of Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada to place legal sports wagers. They also can do so across the southern border in Tijuana, Mexico.
Los Angeles Clippers -2024-2025 Schedule: Top Games
The playoffs are here! The Clippers accomplished the unthinkable when they went 9-1 over the last few weeks. Now, the Clippers will begin the First Round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. Here are the two big games to watch in this upcoming series.
Game 1 @ Denver Nuggets, Apr. 19, 3:30 p.m. EDT, ESPN
It all starts here, in a showdown at Ball Arena. The last time the Clippers were here in the postseason, they fell in Game 6 in the 2020 NBA Playoffs before falling to the Nuggets in Game 7 at home. Regardless, they still went 2-1 in the three games in Denver, and they must do it again to have a chance in this series. Containing Nikola Jokic is key, forcing him to defer to teammates. Then, the Clippers must prevent Jamal Murray and others from capitalizing on the three-point shot. Winning Game 1 in Denver will go a long way toward shifting the momentum in the series.
Game 3 vs. Denver Nuggets, April 24, TBD
Just as winning Game 1 is important, taking Game 3 at home is even more critical. Assuming the Clippers can split the first two games in Denver, they will want to win their first playoff game at the Intuit Dome and put the Nuggets on their heels. The crowd will be amped and ready to go as the Clippers try to gain the strategic advantage and finish the Nuggets when they have the chance.
2024-2025 Clippers Betting Trends
Here are some betting trends when it comes to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2024-2025:
- 47-35 against the spread (ATS) - 57.3% cover rate, 5th

- 19-22 ATS on the road - 46.1%, 20th
- 39-41-2 Over/Under record - 5th-lowest over/under percentage
How to Watch the Clippers
The Clippers will be on ESPN six times and may have some of their games moved onto ABC. They are on TNT's national schedule six times and on NBA-TV 10 times. All of their games can be viewed on NBA League Pass and in Los Angeles, their games are televised locally by Bally Sports SoCal, which has filed bankruptcy (which could impact local TV broadcasts later in the season).
How to Get Clippers Tickets
The box office is always touted as choice No. 1, and nba.com/tickets is a good option, as is Ticketmaster, although they tack on a fee. Secondary sites such as Seat Geek have seats, too, with the inventory changing on a game-to-game basis.
Where do the Clippers Play?
The Clippers share the crypto.com arena with the Los Angeles Lakers. They will move into their own arena, the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, next season.
Los Angeles Clippers FAQs
The Los Angeles Clippers NBA Championship odds are +2500 as of April 15, according to odds from DraftKings Sportsbook. This gives the Clippers the eighth-shortest odds of winning the 2024-2025 NBA Finals. Converted to implied probability, this means the Clippers have a 3.88% chance to win this year's championship.
The Los Angeles Clippers are listed at +1000 to win the Western Conference, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. At +1500, this gives the Clippers the fifth-shortest odds in the conference as well as a 9.09% chance of winning the West by process of implied probability.
As of April 9, the Clippers are averaging 112.9 points per game, the 20th-most in the NBA. For reference, the Cleveland Cavaliers currently lead the league in points per game at 122.3.
The Clippers have never won an NBA Championship or even made it to the NBA Finals. The closest they came to achieving that goal was during the 2020-2021 season, when they made it to the Western Conference Finals but fell to the Phoenix Suns in six games.
Steve Ballmer owns the Clippers. Balmer purchased the Clippers for an approximate price of $2 billion, which, at the time, was the second-largest bid for a sports franchise in North America. The sale became official on August 12, 2014.
