Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

A living legend of today’s NFL will be back in 2025, as nine-time Pro Bowl linebacker Khalil Mack announced his intent to play this fall, making him an unrestricted free agent for the first time ever after playing 167 games with the Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers.

Mack’s 11th season in the league saw him finish with nine pass deflections, 39 tackles, six tackles for loss and an approximate value of 12, per Pro-Football-Reference.com, netting him his ninth season with an AV total of 10 or more, speaking to his longstanding excellence on the defensive side of the ball.

BetCalifornia.com developed odds projecting where Mack will land for the 2025-26 NFL season across California sports betting.

Where Will Khalil Mack Play Next?

We still have Mack’s current employer atop our odds board, with the Chargers (or the field) listed at +250, while the Green Bay Packers are the NFL team best suited to land the 33-year-old Florida native, which would mark his second stop in the NFC North after his four-year sojourn in Chicago.

Other NFL teams to keep an eye on when it comes to Mack include the New England Patriots at +450, while the Los Angeles Rams are listed at +500 and the Philadelphia Eagles come in at +600, with the future Hall of Fame linebacker having no shortage of potential landing spots this offseason.

Whichever team signs Mack is getting a player that’s racked up double-digit AV totals in each of his three seasons with the Bolts, showing that age is merely a number for the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, as the veteran of 167 NFL games may take his talents elsewhere in 2025.
