Golden State Overwhelming Favorites to Close Out Mavericks in Game 5
Fact Checked by Michael Peters

Golden State blew a shot at closing out its Western Conference Finals series against Dallas on Tuesday but the Warriors look to be a sure bet in Thursday night’s Game 5.

Steve Kerr’s club fell to the Mavs 119-109, in Dallas in Game 4, thanks to Luka Dončić’s 30-point performance.

The Warriors return to the Bay Area for Game 5, however, looking to build on their routs over Dallas in Games 1 and 2 where they beat the Mavs by a combined margin of 29 points.

Golden State enters Thursday’s game with a shot at reaching its first NBA Finals in three years.

There is no legal California sports betting.

But two different sports betting initiatives will go before voters in November.

In-between, you’ll find Kerr’s bunch at -140 on BetMGM, as the Warriors look to clinch their fourth NBA Championship since 2015.

The Warriors are -7 on Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook, while BetMGM has them at -7.5.

For those looking to place a moneyline wager, the Warriors odds range from -300 (BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook) to -320 (Caesars Sportsbook).
