The Golden State Warriors used a commanding third quarter to seize control of their Western Conference Finals series against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
The Warriors, who wound up beating the Mavs 109-100, have a 3-0 series lead and are one win away from advancing to the franchise’s first NBA Finals in four years.
Golden State rode a transcendent performance by former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, who scored a playoff career-high 27 points. Steph Curry led all Warriors in scoring with 31.
As a result, Golden State enters Tuesday night’s Game 4 with a shot at a series sweep and a showdown with either Boston or Miami in the Finals.
Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals tips off at 6 p.m. Pacific time on TNT.
