After nine years and five Pro Bowl appearances, Joey Bosa’s time with the Los Angeles Chargers has come to an end apparently, as the veteran of 107 NFL games was officially released by the AFC West club on Wednesday to save the franchise more than $25 million in salary cap space.
Bosa provided an intimidating presence on the defensive line for the Bolts over the years, with 72 sacks and 17 forced fumbles to go with an approximate value of 66, per Pro-Football-Reference.com, but his time in the City of Angels has come and gone, apparently.
With that in mind, BetCalifornia.com broke down some odds on where Bosa will suit up next, with the top landing spot being the NFC club that currently employs his younger brother, Nick.

Who Signs Joey Bosa?
Our top contender in the Joey Bosa chase is the San Francisco 49ers, at +265, as the NFC West stalwart looks to add another defensive line threat to complement Nick’s skills along the trenches. Throw in the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions at +650 apiece and you have the upper end of the Bosa board covered.
Other potential suitors for the veteran out of Ohio State include the Washington Commanders at +900, while the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars are among the relative longshots to snap up the former Bolts pass rusher, with both clubs checking in at +1000 to land Bosa this offseason.
What we know right now is that Bosa’s time in Los Angeles is over, with the former No. 3 pick after racking up the second most sacks in franchise history (behind Leslie O’Neal’s total of 105.5), giving the veteran pass rusher a change of scenery in 2025.
