What Are The Top 10 EGaming Teams?

In the wild world of video games, a few select EGaming teams have fared better overall than a host of others, with some of the most successful teams in the space raking in millions of dollars in various contests.  

Whether it be the most lucrative EGaming team in the world (Team Liquid, at $53.9 million in 2,929 EGaming tournaments) or another worldwide name like T1 ($15.2 million earned in 515 tournaments), FaZe Clan ($21.094 million earned in 790 tournaments) or OG ($38.7 million earned in 200 tournaments), it’s safe to say that Californians have their video gaming team of choice down pat in 2025.  

Trying to find out what EGaming sports team to root on and support? BetCalifornia.com created a scoring system to find out what the top 10 ESports teams are. We factored in Instagram followers, total prize money won, and total number of tournaments played in.

Which EGaming Teams Do Americans Support Most?

The top EGaming team in the country, as determined by the metrics laid out above, was T1, with an overall rank of 5, ranking ahead of FaZe Clan (6.5 overall rank), OG (6.7 overall rank), Team Secret (6.8 overall rank) and Natus Vincere (7 overall rank).  

Throw in five more teams, in G2 Sports and Astralis (8 overall rank each), OpTic Gaming (8.5 overall rank), 100 Thieves (9.5 overall rank) and Team Vitality (10 overall rank) and you have the top EGaming list covered, though none of them held the type of statewide sway of T1, which is a Korean esports teams that was formerly referred to as SK Telecom T1, or SKT T1 for short.
