With the NFL Draft drawing closer by the day, it’s high time for teams across the league to assess where they’re at as a franchise and make tough decisions about who will stay and who will go this offseason. One of those difficult decisions centers around what the Los Angeles Rams will do with All-Pro wideout Cooper Kupp, who has been informed the team is looking to trade him despite his desire to stay.
The 31-year-old former Super Bowl MVP will suit up for a new team sooner rather than later.
With all that in mind, BetCalifornia.com broke down the hypothetical odds on which NFL team Kupp will play for next season.
Given his significant salary and worldly talents, there’s no real rush for the Rams to deal Kupp, which is why we still have L.A. with +400 odds to have Kupp in their lineup through 2025.
But this split is awfully public, and teams will come calling. The Steelers lead our list of Kupp suitors at +550, speaking to the difficult nature of dealing star players in the NFL’s hard cap ecosystem, as the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders (+600 each) are also potentially in play to make a move for the star wideout before the draft.
Whichever team ultimately gets Kupp is receiving a player that’s capable of starring the way that the Rams wideout did when he hauled in 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns during the team’s Super Bowl run during the 2021-22 league year.
With an approximate value of 64 in 94 career games, it’s easy to see why teams would be willing to give up a lot to get their hands on Kupp, as the steely veteran this past season boasted 710 yards on 67 catches and six touchdowns for the Rams.
